Farmer/designer/teacher

Teaching art to children in the public schools is my day job, and since the big harvest in October it’s a focus that leaves little time for what comes next on the greenthread project. That is, putting it in tea bags once again. It has been a while since I’ve had them in stock. Here is a rough draft of the design work I’ve been doing on the new tea package. This one-color design will be stamped on a recycled kraft carton just like the old ones, but with 16 tea bags and each individually wrapped.

Your comments on this rough draft are welcome below. Keep in mind that this black design will be stamped by hand on a recycled kraft carton just like the old designs and the background texture at Plateau Tea.

I know you were working on the new design for the boxes while we were there but I didn’t see the final draft at that time. I like it a lot — more interesting than the old box, I think. Keep up the good work!

Thanks, Jim. This is taking some time. As the dimensions of the tea bags are not quite set, the dimensions of the box are not quite set, so this will change still. I like having time to think about things like this anyway.

Hey Steve! Just discovered your website thru Facebook. Let me know when the tea bags are available I’d love to get some.
